What is a 90 day report…?
An alien who has been permitted to stay in the Kingdom temporarily If staying in the kingdom for more than 90 days, that alien has a duty to report to the Immigration Office staff every 90 days
in accordance with Section 37(5) of the Immigration Act B.E. 1979
There are 3 ways to report yourself for 90 days:
1. Foreigners notify themselves
2. An alien assigns another person to bring a letter to inform.
3. Aliens may have a notification letter sent by registered mail
1. The alien self-reports.
Required Documents
– Valid passport (original)
– Data from TM. 47 form with notification receipt for overstaying more than 90 days (original version)
– work permit that has not expired (original version)
2. Assign others to take the books to report to the agent.
Required Documents
– passport (passport) that has not expired (original)
– Data from TM. 47 with receipt of notification of overstaying more than 90 days (original) with signature
– work permit that has not expired (original version)
– Power of Attorney affixed with 5 baht duty stamp stating that he/she is reporting to that alien (original version)
– Copy of the recipient’s ID card (certified true copy
3. Report by registered mail
Required Documents
– Copy of all pages of the passport with stamps
– Data from TM. 47 form with receipt of notification of overstaying more than 90 days (original version)
– Copy of the work permit that has not expired
– An envelope affixed with a 5 baht stamp, addressed to the employer or foreigner.
– Place the above documents in an envelope and delivered by registered mail (15 days prior to the due date specified in the notification receipt)
Things to know when reporting
Aliens can notify their residence before 15 days or after 7 days from the due date. (According to the order of the Immigration Office No. 222/2010 dated December 9, 2010) in the case of aliens staying more than 90 days
not a request to stay in the Kingdom If overdue or beyond the deadline to be notified, the alien must report himself and pay a fine of 2,000 baht
If the alien is arrested under any circumstance That alien will have to pay a fine of 5,000 baht and a further fine of not more than 200 baht per day until compliance with Section 76 of the Immigration Act B.E. 1979 when the alien leaves the Kingdom. When returning, start counting for 90 days in all cases.
